Our next Baptism has been scheduled for Sunday, September 1st.  If you have interest and/or questions, please contact Pastor Lew Worrad.  We want to sit down with you and talk about the meaning of baptism and your profession of faith in Jesus, so you should let us know of your interest in baptism.

Street Ministry: With the finer weather upon us, more folks are "roughing it" in the bush rather than stay in the shelters. When asked "why would you camp out rather than stay in a shelter?" the answer usually is : "it's safer." If you would like to enhance Philpott's relationship building with street people, which often paves the way for meaningful life story sharing, consider making a donation in kind: i.e., bring a 2-man tent.

Bike repair is happening again and we are finding bikes repaired often get stolen quite quickly due to inadequate locks. You can help us by giving in kind: "a kryptonite combo u-lock" at Canadian Tire for $44.99.

Family Life Ministry:

Thanks to everyone who came to our program, A Place at the Table, Aug 12-16. We had several meaningful moments that will be in the memory of those who took part in the activities. May God make the seeds sown this week, turn into a blessed harvest!
