Help us care for our community in word and deed

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17

Each week we feed between 100 and 125 people downtown as we share the message and love of Jesus. We are thankful to have a clothing closet where we can provide people who need it the most with access to warm, comfortable clothing.

We also have the opportunity to work with many refugee claimants as they get settled in Hamilton. In September 2023 we provided warm clothing including winter jackets for 130 individuals.
As our new friends are finding housing we are pleased to have been able to help provide some basic furnishings from items that our church community has donated.

We also collect care packages in large ziplock bags to hand out to our neighbours downtown. Below are some suggestions for items to include! Please don’t feel like each package needs to contain all the items listed, anything you are able to put together helps!

All donations can be dropped off at the church during our office hours. Please contact Melody if you would like to drop off care packages or a donation of physical goods towards our Urban Outreach.

Another great way to support the ongoing needs of our ministry to the downtown Hamilton community is to make a financial gift designated to the Urban Ministry Project. We are so grateful that your donations allow us to continue to serve those around us who are in need.
